Meet the Directors

Sweet Peach Pageantry is based in Muskogee, Oklahoma. The directors are Pam Reeder and Holli Hanks, a mother and daughter team, both born and raised in Oklahoma. They got involved in pageants from a spectator position when a friend's daughter invited them to watch her compete in a Hawaiian themed pageant several years ago. Things got *real* when Holli had her baby girl, Kaysee Smith. It was then time to get into the competition side of things. Baby Kaysee (called *Peach* by her GiGi Pam) did her first pageant at 3 mos old. Since then she has won numerous titles including top titles at the World of Babies ODM State competition in June 2014. Miss Kaysee hopes to attend nationals for Little Miss America in October 2014. Kaysee's nickname *Peach* was the inspiration for naming our system Sweet Peach Pageantry.

Director Pam Reeder and husband Patrick
Director Pam Reeder moved back *home* to Oklahoma from New Orleans in 2012 when her husband Patrick retired from the Marine Corps. Patrick, the man behind the money, is an overly indulging husband that rarely says no to his wife. From that generosity, came the seed money to fund Sweet Peach Pageantry. He is thanked from the bottom of our hearts.

Going to every pageant in support of her granddaughter Peach, Pam easily got sucked into the excitement of pageants and loved helping plan OOCs and props, working on music, and doing emergency revamping on failed props. Having produced numerous types of events such as banquets, themed parties, festivals, poker runs, car cruises and even running her own Murder Mystery company with dinners and mystery lunches for tour buses, Pam decided pageants were a perfect thing for her to do. Every event has its own type of attendees and each style of event needs to meet the needs and expectations of those attendees. Pam has a proven track record that she can do that. Having been a living history actor and portraying a variety of murder mystery characters, Pam has a flair for costuming and showmanship that she adds to Sweet Peach Pageantry's pageant experience.

Cheston, Holli's first child, is a hands on boy loving to *fix* things as well as take things apart and put them back together again. He loves balls of all kinds and is anxious to become old enough to play tee-ball. He has a whole tribe of family waiting to back him. Until then, Cheston fishes and camps with Daddy and Mommy. Cheston also loves reading and relaxing in his camouflage recliner his Grandpa Hanks gave him. He goes to sleep at night watching Sponge Bob.

Kaysee is Holli's little Diva. Called *Peach* by her GiGi Pam, Kaysee is the inspiration for the name Sweet Peach Pageantry. Starting pageants at 3 mos old, Kaysee has won numerous titles including top titles at the World of Babies ODM State competition last June. She hopes to attend nationals for Little Miss America in October. Enjoying the pageant experience with her own daughter, Holli is always eager to help new mom's entering the pageant world with tips and tricks. Producing pageants and coaching was a natural next step for Holli.

Holli has been involved with her mother producing banquets, festivals, themed parties, poker runs, car cruises and portraying the detective Psychic Sheila in her mother's Murder Mystery company at dinners and mystery lunches for tour buses. Yes, mom's have a way of pressing their children into service to help with their endeavors. However, Holli puts all that experience to work in Sweet Peach Pageantry. As a little girl, Holli had a love for playing dress up, singing and dancing and did recitals. Her love of fashion and make up remains with her to this day. Holli has always had a *can do* attitude finding a way to accomplish whatever she set out to do. As a teen, she tried out for cheerleading squad and competed against girls with years of tumbling and gymnastic experience. Getting only 2nd Alternate, Holli was undaunted and worked hard to move up on the squad. Being slight in build, nimble, quick to learn and determined, Holli became a flyer on the competition squad. Her squad went to regionals and state. Holli brings all her passion for fashion, love of competition, event organizing skills, and love of parties and costuming and unites it to help make the Sweet Peach Pageantry pageants extraordinary events.
